About the position

The Technical Officer – Water and Wastewater will organise asset maintenance for Council’s water and wastewater assets, complete reporting requirements to ensure compliance with regulations and transparency for the community, and provide technical support for Water & Wastewater teams.

About you

- Diploma in engineering-related discipline or equivalent, or relevant trade qualification, or related work experience and willingness to achieve a suitable tertiary qualification.
- Demonstrated organisational and planning skills, including the capacity to work to deadlines and budgets, and to set priorities.
- Demonstrated competence in the use of Microsoft Office Software and experience in the use of relevant software programs – e.g. Asset Management, MS Project, databases, GIS management systems.
- WHS Construction Induction (White Card).
- Current Class C drivers licence.
- Demonstrated experience and/or capability to deliver the Job Specific Key Accountabilities (outlined in the Position Description).




- Demonstrated Developed key capabilities as defined in the Key Capabilities Table (outlined in the Position Description).

- Salary from $87,349 to $94,259 per year (depending on qualifications, skills and experience) plus 12% superannuation
