FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

This role offers a front-seat row to the financial operations of a global scaling business while working alongside a team that is genuinely passionate about what they do.

The Role

Based in our Lytton HQ and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in streamlining our financial operations and providing high-level visibility across our accounts as we continue our global expansion. We are looking for someone who loves the fast-paced nature of retail and is ready to grow with us.

What you will do:

- Financial Reporting & Month-End - Support the month-end close process, ensuring all general ledger postings,



reconciliations and analysis are completed for both legal entities in a timely manner.
- Balance Sheet Integrity - Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including intercompany transactions, accruals and prepayments.
- Compliance & Global Tax - Support the business in meeting all statutory requirements. You will prepare Sales Tax lodgements for Australia and our global markets, while assisting with year-end compliance and tax planning.
- Commercial Insights - Help the team make data-led business decisions in our fast-paced retail environment by spotting performance trends and finding opportunities for cost savings.
- Systems & Automation - Get hands-on with our ERP and eCommerce platforms to ensure everything flows seamlessly. You’ll always be looking for new ways to automate and improve processes as we scale our global footprint.

- Detail-Orientated & Reliable - You have a quality-first mindset and take pride in meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy, even when things are moving fast.
- Problem-Solver with a Growth Mindset – You’re proactive,



and always looking for ways to create efficiencies, streamline processes and embrace recent technology and automation.
- True Team Player - You love collaborating across the brand and can explain the “why” behind the numbers to anyone, from the warehouse to marketing.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

- Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting + CA/CPA qualification (or currently working towards it).
- Experience - 2-3+ years of experience in a financial accounting or professional services role. Coming from a Business Service or Audit background and looking to make the move into commerce? We want to hear from you!
- Systems - Proficiency in Excel and experience with an ERP and/or accounting systems is highly regarded.
- Global Vision - An understanding of multi-entity reporting and a desire to learn international tax and compliance requirements.
