The Digital Marketing & Events Coordinator plays a vital role in strengthening the College's brand, increasing student engagement, supporting student recruitment, and enhancing relationships with education agents and industry stakeholders.

Position Purpose

The Digital Marketing & Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring digital marketing initiatives, communication strategies, student engagement activities, and promotional events across all Orange College campuses.

The role is responsible for ensuring consistent branding, creating engaging content, coordinating marketing campaigns, managing digital platforms, supporting recruitment activities, organising events, and maintaining effective communication with students, agents, staff and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively across departments to ensure all marketing activities align with organisational objectives, regulatory requirements and strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Marketing

- Develop, create and publish engaging content across all digital platforms.
- Manage and maintain the College website to ensure accurate and current information.
- Create and manage content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and other relevant social media platforms.
- Develop and maintain a monthly social media calendar.
- Create marketing campaigns to increase student enquiries and enrolments.
- Coordinate Google Ads, Meta advertising and other paid digital campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare monthly analytics and performance reports.
- Coordinate Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) initiatives with external providers.
- Maintain brand consistency across all digital channels.

2. CRM & Marketing Automation

- Manage enquiries and leads using HubSpot CRM.
- Maintain accurate records of prospective students and marketing campaigns.
- Develop email marketing campaigns through HubSpot.
- Create newsletters for domestic students, international students, education agents and stakeholders.
- Monitor campaign performance including open rates, click-through rates and conversions.
- Support lead nurturing and customer engagement strategies.

3. Marketing & Brand Management

- Assist in implementing the College's annual marketing strategy.




- Coordinate the production of brochures, flyers, banners, merchandise and promotional materials.
- Maintain brand guidelines across all campuses.
- Coordinate photography, videography and graphic design projects.
- Assist in developing promotional videos and student success stories.
- Support new product launches, course promotions and brand awareness campaigns.
- Respond to online enquiries, reviews and social media messages in a timely manner.

4. Events & Student Engagement

- Plan, coordinate and promote student engagement activities.
- Organise Open Days, Orientation Programs, Graduation Ceremonies, Information Sessions and Education Exhibitions.
- Coordinate marketing support for recruitment events.
- Liaise with internal departments regarding event requirements.
- Coordinate event logistics, suppliers, venues and promotional activities.
- Manage Eventbrite registrations where applicable.
- Evaluate event success and prepare post-event reports.

5. Communications

- Prepare internal and external communications.
- Create newsletters, announcements and promotional emails.
- Develop communications for students, education agents and stakeholders.
- Ensure all communications are accurate, professional and aligned with the College's brand.
- Coordinate cross-department communication relating to marketing activities.

6. Stakeholder & Agent Relations

- Support the marketing and recruitment teams in maintaining relationships with education agents.
- Assist with agent communications and promotional campaigns.
- Develop marketing collateral for domestic and international recruitment.
- Liaise with external suppliers including designers, printers, videographers, photographers and web developers.

7. Compliance & Quality Assurance

- Ensure all marketing activities comply with:
- ESOS Act
- National Code
- Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)
- Australian Consumer Law
- Privacy legislation
- College policies and procedures
- Ensure all published material receives appropriate internal approvals.
- Maintain marketing records and documentation.
- Complete monthly marketing reports.
- Protect student privacy when publishing photographs or videos.

8. General Duties

- Support organisational marketing and sales initiatives.
- Collaborate with all departments across campuses.
- Contribute ideas to improve brand awareness and student experience.
- Assist with campus presentation and promotional displays.




- Undertake additional duties as reasonably directed by management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Growth in student enquiries and lead generation
- Social media engagement and audience growth
- Website traffic and digital campaign performance
- Event attendance and participant satisfaction
- Timely delivery of marketing campaigns
- CRM accuracy and lead management
- Brand consistency across all marketing channels
- Compliance with marketing procedures
- Internal stakeholder satisfaction
- Achievement of project deadlines

Selection Criteria Essential

- Minimum three (3) years' experience in digital marketing, preferably within the education sector.
- Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms.
- Experience using HubSpot CRM or similar CRM systems.
- Experience coordinating events and marketing campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong copywriting and content creation abilities.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High attention to detail.

Technical Skills

Demonstrated experience using:

- HubSpot CRM
- Canva
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Eventbrite
- Mailchimp
- SurveyMonkey
- Google Analytics
- Google Ads
- Meta Business Suite
- Social media management platforms

Qualifications

Essential:

- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline.

Desirable:

- Qualification in Graphic Design or Multimedia.
- Google Ads Certification.
- Meta Blueprint Certification.
- SEO certification.
- A good understanding of creating marketing strategies
- Understands how to run campaigns on META or Google, Worked on TikTok, etc.

Working Conditions

- Based across Melbourne CBD and Port Melbourne campuses.
- Some evening and weekend work may be required for events.
- Occasional travel between campuses may be required.

- Worked in the education sector
- Has at least 3-5 years of experience
- Australian Citizen or equivalent, or full-time work allowed

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year

Work Authorisation:
