We’re now looking for a Part Time Certificate III or Diploma qualified Educator — or someone who’s currently studying toward their qualification — to join our vibrant team and help create inspiring learning experiences for young children.
Where you’ll work
With community as both its focus and its support, Orbost Kindergarten has carried a tradition of quality early childhood education and care for over sixty years and has a strong passion for supporting children to grow and thrive all the way through their early years journey. The team are seeking educators who share this strong passion and are adaptable to a energetic and engaging community program.
Role Details
Fixed term employment - asap until 20/12/2026
Certificate III or Diploma qualified Educator
Session times: Tuesday and Thursday - 8:30am to 4:00pm, Wednesday - 8:30am to 1:30pm
19 contact hours + 4.75 non-contact hours = 23.75 hours per week
Shift times: Tuesday 8.00am to 4.30pm, Wednesday 8.00am-3.45pm and Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm
What You’ll Do
As a valued member of our teaching team, you’ll:
- Support play-based learning programs that nurture each child’s growth and development
- Build warm,
respectful relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
- Create safe, inclusive environments where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired
- Work collaboratively with your team to deliver exceptional education and care

Diploma Educator
What You’ll Bring
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively studying toward it)
- A genuine interest in supporting children’s development and commitment to ongoing learning
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and reliability
