About the role
Join The Royal Melbourne Hospital’s Perioperative Services team as an Advanced Store Person, supporting safe and efficient surgical care through effective management of sterile stock, consumables, equipment and surgical supplies.
Working closely with clinical teams, you will coordinate ordering, receiving, replenishment and logistics to ensure theatres are prepared and patient care is supported.
Key Accountabilities
Manage the receipt, tracking, and distribution of stock within the perioperative setting
Monitor and resolve supply issues, including back orders and discrepancies
Work collaboratively with clinical and operational teams to maintain optimal stock levels
Use multiple inventory and IT systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in stock control
About You
Previous experience in a store person, inventory controller, or logistics role (healthcare experience is a plus but not essential)
Strong organisational skills with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
Confident using digital inventory systems and managing stock across multiple platforms
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment
