Wander is a small neighbourhood restaurant in Woolooware that recently reopened after relocating from London. It seats 24 people, and offers an ever-changing seasonal menu, friendly & professional service, and a carefully curated natural wine list featuring winemakers from Australia and Europe.

We’re currently looking for an experienced Front of House team member to join our small team.

About the role

This position suits someone who is professional, hard-working, quick to learn, and confident in a fast-paced service setting. Our menu and wine list changes regularly, so strong communication and the ability to learn quickly are essential.

Trading hours

- Dinner: Wednesday – Saturday (5pm–10pm)

Key responsibilities

- Deliver friendly, polished service to guests
- Take orders accurately and manage tables efficiently
- Learn changing menus quickly and confidently explain dishes to guests
- Provide recommendations and handle dietary requirements s
- Offer wine suggestions and support guests through the wine list
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of FOH areas




- Process payments and handle guest requests professionally

About you

- Proven FOH experience in a busy restaurant environment
- Professional, reliable, and well-presented
- Quick learner with strong attention to detail
- Hard-working, proactive, and a strong team player
- Confident communicator with a genuine interest in hospitality
- Natural wine knowledge is a plus (but not essential)
- Available for Friday/Saturday nights and Sunday shifts
