Dental Aspects is a modern dental surgery located in Regents Park, Qld, and we are looking for a long-term Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our friendly team. The practice is located close to public transport, with a major bus interchange nearby, and ample car parking spaces are also available on site.

About the position

- This is a long-term position, so a keen interest in the dental field is a must

- You will be exposed to all areas of general dentistry

- One-on-one training will be provided if you are new to the profession

- Hours are versatile, however evenings and some Saturdays will be required

- Ideally looking for someone for 1-3 days per week, including a Wednesday.

- Uniforms will be supplied

Responsibilities

- General reception duties including answering phone calls, taking payments, filing and booking appointments

- Preparing the surgery rooms for dental procedures

- Chair-side assisting for the clinicians





- Following strict sterilisation and infection control procedures

Skills needed

- Be extremely reliable and punctual

- Have great conversational and communication skills, and be able to make patients feel at ease

- Be professional, polite, friendly and a team player

- Be efficient, organised and a fast learner

- Be able to work calmly under pressure
