Job Description
As a Conference & Events Attendant, you will play an integral role in the daily operation of meetings, conferences, and special events throughout the hotel. You will ensure every event space is impeccably presented, every guest request is handled with care, and every experience reflects the high standards of our luxury brand.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up conference and event spaces to exact event specifications with exceptional attention to detail
- Delivering premium food and beverage service to guests during conferences, meetings, and events
- Maintaining beautifully presented tea, coffee, and refreshment stations throughout the day
- Ensuring all event requirements are delivered seamlessly and on schedule
- Taking ownership of designated event spaces and ensuring smooth service delivery
- Assisting guests with additional requests to create a personalised and effortless experience
- Monitoring electronic event signage to ensure all information is accurate and professionally displayed
- Handling conference equipment with care and professionalism
- Communicating closely with the Conference & Events Operations Manager regarding operational updates and guest needs
- Supporting the wider team to ensure every event exceeds expectations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality, conferencing, events, or food & beverage service
- A warm, engaging, and professional presentation
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- A team-focused attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond for guests
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is essential
- Valid Australian Working Rights / Visa is essential
