About the Team
The Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships team cultivates an environment for proactive and meaningful stakeholder engagement informed by evidence. We foster partnerships that enable identified strategic initiatives and transform the way we approach strategic engagement with consumers, workforce and community through partnership.
About the Role
Your contribution will include the following:
Develop and implement a comprehensive stakeholder engagement and partnering approach that aligns to CHQs strategic priorities, changing needs and community engagement obligations.
Apply recognised engagement frameworks and relevant health system intelligence to design tailored engagement approaches that meet complexity, sensitivity and audience experience needs.
Conduct thorough stakeholder analysis and mapping to identify key actors, assess their interests and influence, and develop targeted engagement plans that ensure no group is excluded from the process.
Build, maintain and nurture high-quality, trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholders, including senior officials, peak bodies, community groups, clinical experts and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representatives.
Facilitate collaborative problem-solving and co-design processes that bring together internal teams and external stakeholders to develop shared solutions, action strategic objectives, inform initiatives or improve services.
Develop, formalise and oversee strategic partnership governance arrangements (such as agreements, terms of reference and committees), ensuring obligations, risks and performance expectations are clearly documented and consistently met.
Develop relevant metrics for continuous improvement, synthesise and translate complex stakeholder feedback and engagement data into actionable insights, and prepare explicit recommendations or presentation of data.
Provide expert advice to senior leaders on stakeholder sentiment, partner plans, emerging issues and reputational risks, enabling informed decision-making.
Champion the development and embedding of engagement capability across the organisation, including designing and delivering internal tools, templates, training resources and communities of practice.
Write and deliver high-quality communication materials that clearly articulate CHQ's position and engagement outcomes to diverse audiences.
