About the Role
We are seeking physically fit and safety-conscious General Labourer to join a team in Dandenong South. This role involves manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and stacking. We're looking for candidates who are committed to working Monday to Friday and are seeking a long-term opportunity with consistent hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely lift and carry materials.
- Follow workplace procedures to secure materials and prevent accidents.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to minimise trip hazards.
- Report safety concerns or incidents to supervisors immediately.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
Essential Requirements
- Physical fitness: Ability to repetitively lift 25kg and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Manual handling experience: Prior experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or labouring roles preferred.
- Safety-first mindset:
Commitment to adhering to PPE requirements (e.g., steel-capped boots, gloves, high-vis clothing).
- Teamwork: Robust communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to working Monday to Friday.
Safety & Compliance
- Strict adherence to WorkSafe Victoria guidelines and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
- Participate in site-specific safety inductions and manual handling training.
- Zero tolerance for unsafe practices.
