We are seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing team. This role involves the maintenance, servicing, and repair of trailers and heavy vehicles within a busy transport workshop workplace.

Key Responsibilities and Job Description:

- Perform scheduled servicing, inspections, and repairs on heavy vehicles and trailers
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Carry out computer diagnostics
- Change tyres
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety requirements
- Maintain accurate service records and reports
- Work collaboratively with workshop staff and management to meet operational needs

Requirements:

- Current Driver's Licence (essential)
- Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle or Commercial Trailer Servicing and Repairs (essential)




- Proven experience in servicing and repairing heavy vehicles and trailers minimum of 2 years
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Must have own tools

Desirable:

- Forklift Licence
- Working at Heights and EWP tickets
