MiCare is a not-for-profit organisation supporting people from diverse communities across Victoria and Queensland through aged care, home care, retirement living and migrant services. Our mission is easy: to enable people from diverse communities to live dignified and meaningful lives.
We're looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support our Chief Executive Officer and Executive Team. This is a role with real reach, you'll sit at the centre of how the organisation makes decisions, and your work will directly enable the quality of care and support we provide to more than a thousand people every day.
What you'll do
- Provide high-level executive and secretarial support to the CEO and Executive Team
- Coordinate and support Board activities, through committee papers, agendas and minutes, and track actions through to completion
- Draft, edit and format correspondence, reports and presentations on behalf of the CEO and Executive
- Act as a first point of contact for the CEO's office, handling enquiries with discretion and professionalism
- Drive organisational engagement through executive meetings, forums, celebrations and events, working closely with our marketing team and the wider MiCare community
- Maintain confidential records and continuously improve the administrative systems behind them
- Undertake research and prepare briefing and discussion papers to support strategic planning
What you'll bring
- Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive and/or Board support in a complex, confidential environment, aged care,
health or community services experience is highly regarded
- Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills, and the judgement to know what matters most on any given day
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at every level
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel as well as a proactive approach to a variety of systems and platforms to improve and drive efficiencies
- The initiative to work independently and anticipate what's needed before you're asked
