Are you looking to begin a rewarding career working with children? Explore & Develop Terrigal is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable Trainee Educator to join our exceptional team while completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. This full-time traineeship offers the opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining valuable hands-on experience in an innovative, Exceeding-rated early learning service with the support of experienced educators and mentors.

Our purpose-built service features engaging, creative learning spaces across five age-specific classrooms, caring for and educating up to 88 children each day. We believe children learn best through play, meaningful relationships and environments that inspire curiosity and discovery. Led by an experienced, engaged and supportive Approved Provider and Leadership Team, we are committed to maintaining excellence across every aspect of the National Quality Framework. About the role:

As a Trainee Educator, you will:

- Learn alongside experienced Early Childhood Professionals.
- Complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Build nurturing, respectful and responsive relationships with children and families.
- Support the implementation of engaging learning experiences based on children’s interests.
- Assist with daily routines while maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming learning environment.
- Work collaboratively within a large professional team.




- Contribute to maintaining our Exceeding National Quality Standard practices.

About you:

- Committed to studying and successfully completing a Certificate III qualification.

Essential requirements:

- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
- Ability to undertake a full time traineeship.
- Current references.
- A genuine passion for working with children.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Commitment to ongoing professional learning in child protection, child safe practices and safeguarding responsibilities.
- Strong values aligned with respectful relationships, teamwork, professionalism and ethical practice.
