About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Psychologist to join the team at Better Together Community Support in Atherton, North Queensland. As a Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive mental health services to the local community. What you'll be doing

- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and providing evidence-based psychological interventions to clients across the lifespan
- Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address a wide range of mental health and wellbeing concerns
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to client care
- Maintaining detailed and accurate client records in accordance with professional and organisational standards
- Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery and clinical best practices
- Participating in regular supervision, professional development, and team meetings

What we're looking for

- Fully registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience providing psychological services in a community-based or clinical setting
- Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based psychological interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and family therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills,



with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of the organisation
- Excellent time management, organisational, and problem-solving skills
