Role Purpose

The Cargo Flight Clerk role is responsible for delivering high performance standards around all aspects of cargo handling, meeting the requirements of our customers. This will include coordinating and supporting the efficient movement of domestic and international freight while ensuring compliance with airline, customs, quarantine, safety, and airport regulations. The role provides administrative, operational, and customer service support through accurate documentation, transaction processing, reporting, and freight coordination activities.

What you will be doing

- Maintain a strong safety culture within the workplace driving OH&S; awareness in accordance with company policies and procedures at all times.
- Work without direct supervision.
- Perform duties as directed by Supervisors and Cargo Operations Manager
- Ensure that productivity and performance criteria are met in the designated area of responsibility, including completion or regular performance assessment reports.
- Ascertain daily work schedules and allocate specific tasks to meet daily work objectives in a designated group.

What we are looking for

- Ability to respond to customer service functions.
- Provide advice and information on the organisation's products and services.
- Have a strong customer focus with good communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Attention to detail and can work well under pressure.
- Be competent in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Teams.
