About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our growing team on a permanent full-time basis. The successful applicant will be involved in a variety of high end, architectural style construction projects throughout the Brisbane region.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

- Reading plans, drawings and specifications to determine dimensions, installation procedures and material take-offs.
- All stages of set out, framing, lock-up and fit out.
- Selecting, ordering and preparing materials for construction projects.
- Operating power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Working effectively within the team and ensuring that all work is finished to a top standard.
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant building standards, project specifications and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Working collaboratively with supervisors, other trades, subcontractors and clients to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.





Skills and Experience Required

To be successful in this role, applicants must have:

- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
- 2 years of relevant work experience as a Carpenter.
- Demonstrated experience in residential construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret building plans and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, building materials and construction practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Solid organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current driver's license.
- White Card.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference may be given to candidates who have:

- Experience across multiple construction projects.
- Additional trade or construction-related tickets and licenses.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous professional development.
