APG Workforce is a national workforce provider partnering with leading manufacturers across Australia. We are currently recruiting physically fit and reliable Process Workers / Machine Operators for a well-established pet food manufacturing facility in Yatala, QLD.
About the Role
This is a hands-on production role working with raw and cooked ingredients used in pet food manufacturing. This is a physically demanding role and is not suitable for applicants looking for light production work. You will be required to perform repetitive manual handling throughout your shift, including frequent lifting of products weighing up to 20kg, while working in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment.
This is an ongoing casual on-call position working AM shift (5:50am – 2:00pm). Successful applicants must be available to accept shifts as required. There is potential for the role to progress into more consistent Monday to Friday work, depending on production requirements and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and handling raw and cooked products
- Frequent manual handling and lifting of products up to 25kg
- Working across production areas (preparation, packing, processing lines)
- Repetitive manual handling tasks
- Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards
- Meeting daily production targets within a team environment
