About the role

Based in our well-equipped Blackwater Workshop, you'll be responsible for maintaining the reliability and performance of a large fleet of heavy mining equipment. You'll carry out planned servicing, major repairs,



component replacements and fault diagnosis to ensure equipment is returned to service safely and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Performing workshop-based maintenance, servicing and repairs
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out effective repairs
- Completing component change-outs, overhauls and machine rebuilds
- Undertaking preventative and scheduled maintenance activities
- Responding to equipment defects and breakdown repairs
- Accurately completing maintenance documentation
- Maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards
- Working collaboratively with fellow tradespeople and operational teams

About you

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

- Australian recognised trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter, Plant Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Experience maintaining heavy mining, civil or earthmoving equipment
- Robust diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
- A commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
