Remuneration package valued at up to $156,253.00. Base salary ranges from $90,177.00 to $137,861.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Position Information

Googong Public School is a purpose built future-focused learning environment located on the lands of the Ngambri and Ngunnawal People, with 39 classrooms including 3 supported learning classes, catering for over 936 students. Selection Criteria

- Approval to teach English as an Additional Language/Dialect or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in English as an additional language primary or dialect qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.





- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team to support the literacy and English language skills of EAL/D students, including New Arrival students.

- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build positive relationships with the learning support team, classroom teachers and the wider school community.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.

Special Notes

If applicable, engagement will be temporary until successful completion of the Teacher English as an additional language or dialect qualifications as recognised by the NSW Department of Education which must be completed within 12 months.
