Synergie is seeking a Hook Driver to join a leading Waste Management and Environmental Services provider located in Biloela.

The important parts:

- Ongoing Casual Opportunity
- 4:45am starts, 10–12 hour days
- 5–6 days per week with plenty of overtime available
- $38.08 per hour (Ordinary Time)
- Immediate start available for the right candidate

What you will be required to do:

Working as part of a busy waste management operation, you will be responsible for servicing construction and industrial customers throughout the local area while maintaining high safety and presentation standards.

- Operate Hook Lift vehicles and associated equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily vehicle maintenance and safety inspections
- Ensure vehicle presentation is maintained to a high standard
- Service construction and industrial customers within the region
- Follow all company policies, procedures and safety requirements

To be successful in the role you will:

- Hold a current Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence (minimum requirement)
- Demonstrate a robust commitment to workplace health and safety
- Have a reliable work ethic and excellent attendance record
- Possess mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify basic vehicle issues
- Experience operating Hook Lift collection vehicles (highly regarded)




- Previous experience within the waste industry (desirable)
- Have working rights in Australia
- Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to work
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role
