Your Role

Digit IT is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our growing team. Based in Toowoomba, you will play a key role in delivering our key service offerings: IT Support, IT Projects, IT Security, Managed Services, Cloud Services and Business Connectivity.

This is an intermediate role, suited to someone who has experience providing Level 1 – Level 2 Support within an MSP environment. Strong customer service and IT support skills are a must!

Your Responsibilities

- Provide onsite and remote Level 1 – Level 2 technical support to our clients

- Monitor and maintain networks, servers and client devices

- Log and resolve tickets in our management system

- Create and maintain client documentation

- Onsite client visits for IT support, installations and IT projects

Your Skills and Experience

- Excellent oral, listening and written communication skills

- Experience in a Systems Engineer role

- Logical and methodical troubleshooting approach

- Strong knowledge of Windows servers

- Experience with Office 365 and Azure

- Knowledge of virtualisation technologies (Hyper-V, VMWare)

- Knowledge or networks (LAN, WAN,



VPN and VLAN)

- Backup and recovery (Datto, VEEAM, Acronis & StorageCraft)

- VOIP Telephony, 3CX systems

- Attention to detail and clear, accurate and concise documentation

- A valid driver’s license

- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
