We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic company entering a new service area, where your expertise will directly contribute to the success of our tiling division.

Key Duties

Measure, cut, and lay tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces in residential and commercial settings

Prepare and apply waterproofing membranes and substrate surfaces prior to tiling

Mix, apply, and finish grout and adhesives to secure tiles

Inspect surfaces to ensure they are level, clean, and structurally sound before tiling commences

Cut tiles using manual and power cutting tools to fit around obstacles and edges

Apply and finish sealants and expansion joints

Liaise with site supervisors, project managers, and clients to ensure work meets specifications and quality standards





Adhere to all relevant Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation and site safety requirements

Ensure materials and resources are used efficiently and waste is minimised

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Relevant trade qualification in Wall and Floor Tiling, or a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler

At least 1 year of recent full-time work experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler

Proficiency in tiling a variety of surfaces including ceramic, porcelain, stone, and mosaic

Experience with waterproofing systems (wet areas, balconies, etc.) is highly regarded

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality finishes

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Current White Card (Construction Induction Card) is essential

Valid driver's licence preferred

Relevant licensing/registration as required under Queensland legislation
