About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and competent CNC Operator to join our production team on a permanent basis. Working alongside two experienced operators and a hands-on Supervisor, you will be responsible for setting up and operating 3-axis CNC machines to deliver high-quality products, primarily within the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, load, and operate 3-axis CNC machinery efficiently.
- Utilise SolidWorks for interpreting drawings and ensuring production accuracy.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to maintain strict industry standards.
- Monitor machine performance and perform basic troubleshooting or tooling changes.
- Collaborate closely with the Toolroom Supervisor and the Engineering & Innovation Manager to meet production deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator (experience with 3-axis machines is essential).
- Strong proficiency or familiarity with SolidWorks software.
- Background working with FMCG products or high-volume manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
- Experience or background with Nolastic Tooling is a massive advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-player mindset.
