We’re seeking an experienced BIM / VDC Manager to join our national BIM / VDC team based in Melbourne, helping to drive model-based delivery and digital innovation across our business. Reporting to the National Digital Technologies and Development Manager, this role offers the opportunity to influence projects from tender through to project completion.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in advancing Hansen Yuncken’s digital delivery capability by partnering with estimating, design, planning and project delivery teams to embed BIM and VDC processes across the project lifecycle.

Working across multiple projects, you’ll help improve the way we tender, design, coordinate, construct and hand over projects using digital technologies. You’ll contribute to developing nationally consistent BIM/VDC standards and operational implementation, and champion continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

As BIM / VDC Manager, you will:

- Implement BIM and VDC processes aligned with national standards across tenders and projects.
- Support tender submissions by showcasing HY’s digital capability and innovation, while meeting client BIM & information requirements.
- Working collaboratively with the pre-construction team in the adoption of BIM workflows to support estimating and cost management procedures.
- Support design management through model coordination,



design audits, programme alignment and team-oriented workflows.
- Support project teams with the technical application of BIM/VDC processes, systems, and technologies.
- Promote the BIM/VDC strategy and benefits to project teams and senior leadership, supporting change management initiatives.

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with a collaborative approach and passion for model-based delivery and innovation. You’ll bring:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent.
- 5+ years industry experience in a similar role within a commercial construction organisation.
- A deep understanding of model-based delivery across the project lifecycle.
- Experience in using BIM authoring and or coordination technologies.
- Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence teams.
- A passion for innovation, continuous improvement and digital leadership.
