Highvale Preschool is seeking a caring, team-oriented and enthusiastic Certificate Co-Educator to join our experienced Three-Year-Old Kindergarten team. This fixed-term, part-time position is for 17.25 hours per week, commencing as soon as possible and concluding on 18 December 2026. There may be opportunities for continued employment in 2027, subject to the operational and staffing needs of the program. Established in 1972, Highvale Preschool is a community-managed sessional kindergarten in Glen Waverley. We provide government-funded Three-Year-Old and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten programs in a caring, inclusive and play-based learning environment.

About the role

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the teaching team to: * Support a high-quality, inclusive and play-based program. * Build warm and respectful relationships with children and families.



* Support children’s wellbeing, learning and development. * Assist with supervision and the preparation of learning environments. * Follow all service policies, child safety requirements and regulatory obligations.

You will have: * A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-recognised equivalent. * A current Victorian Working with Children Check. * Current first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications. * Current child protection and mandatory reporting training. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * A commitment to inclusion, children’s rights and culturally safe practice. Previous experience in a sessional kindergarten is desirable.
