Job Description

As a l Dental Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring our patients receive an outstanding experience at every visit.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
- Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
- Supporting infection prevention and control protocols
- Providing excellent patient care and reassurance
- Managing stock and ensuring clinical areas are well supplied
- Completing general administrative and clinical support tasks as required

This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety,



flexibility, and being part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Hours for this role:

- Saturdays: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (preferred)
- A positive, professional, and patient-focused approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisation and time management abilities
- The ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment
- Flexibility to work across varying shifts when required
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient care
- Valid New Zealand work rights
