About the Roles
2nd Class Welder
You’ll be responsible for welding basic metal door frames and related components to production standards.
Key duties:
- MIG welding of mild steel components
- Reading and following work orders and basic drawings
- Ensuring weld quality and alignment
- Assisting with general fabrication and workshop tasks
Sheet Metal Folder Operators
These roles involve operating sheet metal folding machinery to produce metal building components.
Key duties:
- Operating folding or press brake machines
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping sheet metal
- Conducting quality checks and adjustments
- Following production schedules and instructions
- Basic computer input for machine settings and job data
Requirements
- Previous experience in welding or sheet metal fabrication (preferred)
- Ability to read measurements and perform basic math
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet
- Reliable and punctual with a strong safety focus
- Must be available for AM shift (5am–1pm)
- Own reliable transport
