Our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of PVC pipe systems, fittings, and infrastructure solutions for mining, plumbing, and industrial sectors, is currently seeking reliable and experienced individuals to join their busy Geebung facility.
We have two ongoing opportunities available for immediate start:
1. Maintenance Fitter – Industrial Manufacturing
Pay Rate: $46.58 per hour (weekly pay)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Type: Ongoing, full-time day shift
About the Role:
This is a hands-on maintenance position working within a manufacturing environment, focused on keeping production equipment running efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant and production machinery
- Assembly/disassembly of pumps, piping, and mechanical systems
- Preventative maintenance and breakdown fault finding
- Installation and commissioning of equipment
- Use of hand and power tools
- Working closely with production and maintenance teams
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
About You:
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Solid mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Safety-focused and physically fit
Desirable (not essential):
- Forklift (LF) licence
- Welding or fabrication experience
Roster: Weekly rotating shifts
Type: Ongoing position with immediate start
About the Role:
You will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment operating machinery and forklifts to support production output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating production machinery
- High Reach and Counterbalance forklift operation
- General warehouse and production duties
- Maintaining safety standards at all times
- Supporting production targets and workflow
About You:
- Minimum 1 year experience in machine operating and/or forklift driving
- Experience with High Reach and Counterbalance forklifts
- Available for rotating shifts (day, afternoon, night)
- Reliable, safety-focused, and willing to learn
- Able to start immediately
