Casual Educator

Location: Yerrabi Ponds by Busy Bees | Salary: $38.71–$447.68 per hour | Employment Type: Casual

Flexible to work across shifts between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

- Support implementation of engaging play‑based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Assist with providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Support daily routines, activities, and supervision of children.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS).

Qualifications & Requirements

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP).
- Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded.
- Commitment to child safety, speaking up, and alignment with Busy Bees values.




- Employment is conditional on satisfactory pre‑employment checks, including WWCC‑WWVP, ID, qualifications, go‑cardic training, work rights, NQAITS, Prohibited Persons reference, and child safety training.
