An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established organisation based in Brisbane's eastern suburbs. This is an initial temporary opportunity with the genuine potential to become permanent for the right person.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable process while working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure payments are processed accurately and on time.

- End-to-end processing of supplier invoices
- Matching, coding and processing invoices
- Preparing and processing payment runs
- Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining supplier accounts and creating new vendor records
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Responding to supplier and internal stakeholder enquiries
- Investigating and resolving invoice and payment issues
- Managing the shared accounts payable inbox
- Assisting with month-end activities and ad hoc finance administration

About You





- Previous experience in an end-to-end Accounts Payable position
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- The ability to pick up new systems quickly and work collaboratively within a team
