Job Title: Thermoforming machine operator
Location: Laverton North, VIC
Employment Type: Casual ongoing work
Pay Rate: $45-$49 per hour
About Us:
We are a growing plastics manufacturing company specialising in high-quality blow moulded products, for food grade products. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation, we are looking for skilled Thermoforming operator to join our production team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, thermoforming machines
- Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and production efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Record production data and report any issues to supervisors
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
- Operate forklifts safely for material handling and production support
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating thermoforming machinery in a plastics environment
- Valid LF (Forklift)
licence (essential)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and production plans
- Valuable attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to work night shift, if successful you will be trained for two weeks on day shift then move to night.
- 11pm-7am roster, Sunday to Thursday.
- Mechanically minded and can use hand tools.
- Can change over moulds and make adjustments.
- Can fill out reports relating to quality control.
- Must be available for 5 days a week and be reliable
Shift Information:
- Training will commence on day shift for two weeks, then shift to nights
