Wood is currently recruiting for a hands-on and energetic Commercial Advisor to join our team in our Perth office.

Reporting functionally to the Commercial Manager - Australia, this role will perform the full range of commercial activities from preparation and negotiation of commercial pricing models, commercial inputs to proposals, pre and post award contract reviews, contract administration and commercial close out activities.

At a high level, the job objectives are, under supervision:

- Maximise commercial performance while managing business/project risk (pre and post-contract)
- Commercialisation of a sub-Business Groups service offerings to support business growth and strategy
- Ensure compliance with relevant commercial/contracting policies
- Resolution of disputes/claims and cash collection issues
- Embedding effective commercial governance and assurance across the sub-Business Group / Project / Portfolio of Projects
- Supporting the tender governance process for the sub-Business Group

Wood is currently recruiting for a hands-on and energetic Commercial Advisor to join our Projects team in our Perth office. As a Commercial Advisor at Wood, you will assist the Commercial Managers to price and manage Wood’s tenders ensuring all costs,



expenses and risks are accounted for with a view to enabling Wood to operate profitably and sustainably.

Expected:

You will be an Australian citizen or hold Permanent Residency (PR) enabling you to work lawfully in Australia. If you have an independent visa application in progress, you are also encouraged to apply.

- Degree in Accounting, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Business Studies, along with appropriate professional qualification, preferred. However anyone with qualifications that have developed intimate experience with Microsoft Excel (and willingness to learn other aspects of the role) will be considered.

Knowledge, skills, and experience:

- 2-8 years experience in a similar role
- Good working knowledge and experience in commercial administration.
