Overview:

Master Appliances has a dedicated and experienced workforce and a management team committed to maintaining our place as a leader in appliance repair services. As a result of our ongoing operations and organisational needs, we are currently looking for an experienced Appliance Technician (Electronic Equipment Trades Worker) for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, based in Hornsby, NSW.

Main tasks:

·Diagnosing faults in home appliances and white goods

·Adjusting, repairing and replacing worn and defective parts in home appliances and white goods

·Maintaining home appliances and white goods

·Reassembling, test operating and adjusting home appliances and white goods

·Installing electronic and mechanical parts for home appliances and white goods

·Applying knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical principles for home appliances and white goods

·Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunction





Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:

Relevant Certificate IV plus minimum 3 years’ work experience.

3 years’ work experience may substitute the formal qualification.

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:

·Sound verbal and written communication skills.

·Good attention to detail and a positive attitude towards work-related matters.

·Sound organisational skills.

·Technical and on-the-job competencies and skills.

Annual salary will be between $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
