Welding Supervisor
- Monday to Friday role
- $75.00 - $85.00 + Super (Base + Pens)
- 6 am to 4 pm
About the Client:
Our client specialises in the design, manufacture, deployment, and operation of prefabricated modular data centres and critical edge computing infrastructure. The company delivers customised modular solutions, including data centres, cable landing stations, and satellite ground stations, to clients across the telecommunications, defence, mining, and government sectors. In addition to manufacturing these advanced infrastructure solutions, our client also manages and operates core data centre facilities, providing reliable, secure, and scalable services tailored to meet the needs of critical industries
What You Will Be Doing:
- Supervise and coordinate daily welding operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. Provide technical guidance and support to the welding team while monitoring productivity to maintain project schedules.
- Interpret fabrication drawings, specifications, and welding procedures to ensure all work is completed accurately and in compliance with quality requirements. Conduct regular inspections to verify workmanship and adherence to established standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean,
and organised workshop environment by promoting secure work practices and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety procedures. Liaise closely with workshop management to coordinate workflow and ensure project deadlines are consistently achieved.
What You Will Need:
- Current AS 2214 Welding Supervisor Certification
- Previous experience supervising welding or fabrication teams
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, quality standards and fabrication practice
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
