We are seeking a motivated and reliable Roof Plumber Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the roofing industry while working alongside experienced tradespeople on a variety of residential and commercial projects.
As an apprentice, you will receive hands-on training in all aspects of roof plumbing and metal roofing while working towards a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist tradespeople and supervisors with daily roofing and roof plumbing tasks.
2. Maintain clean, organised and safe work sites at the completion of each day and project.
3. Keep company vehicles, factory and warehouse clean and well maintained.
4. Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company standards.
Typical Duties
1. Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications to determine installation requirements.
2. Assist with erecting scaffolding and operating elevated work platforms.
3. Install battens, top hats, safety mesh, insulation and roof sheeting.
4. Install roof plumbing products including flashings, rainwater goods, pumps and water tanks.

Fabricate and install custom metal flashings.
6. Carry out roof maintenance and repairs.
7. Assess work quality and comply with relevant Australian Standards and local authority requirements.
8. Clean work areas and remove debris upon completion of each project.

Training & Qualifications
Successful applicants will work towards a nationally recognised qualification, including one of the following:
Certificate III in Roof Plumbing.
Certificate III in Plumbing (Roofing Stream).
Certificate III in Plumbing.
Certificate III in Metal Roofing Trade.
