ADW Johnson are looking for a senior planner with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in local or State government or consulting to join our multi-disciplinary Sydney team.

THE ROLE

- Prepare statutory planning reports, including Statement of Environmental Effects, Planning Proposals, Environmental Impact Statements, planning due diligence assessments and general planning advice.

- Represent the client and project at Council / Panel meetings, or at the Land and Environment Court.

- Prepare, lodge, and monitor development applications, planning proposals (rezonings), and pre-DA/scoping reports.

- Prepare fee proposals and tender submissions.

- Undertake project management tasks, including managing applications, liaising with subconsultants, and coordinating project programs.

- Manage and mentor junior staff.

OTHER SKILLS

- Demonstrated experience in local / State government or consulting. Land and Environment Court experience desirable.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe software.
