Synopsis
We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support LSSA’s dedicated contract management function and manage key customer and supplier contracts across LSSA and LSWA. This role will help strengthen contract governance, performance, compliance and commercial outcomes. Reporting to the Contract Management Lead, you will support the full contract lifecycle, including governance, obligations management, risk and issue management, performance monitoring, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
About The Role
You will be a key point of contact for contract-related matters, working with internal teams, the Legal Team, customers, suppliers and external stakeholders to ensure obligations are understood, delivered and monitored.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day management of assigned material contracts across their full lifecycle including implementation, administration, performance monitoring, variations, renewals, close-out and transition activities.
- Act as the nominated Contract Manager and key contact for LSSA under its 47-year concession with the State.
- Maintain contract obligation registers and ensure accountable business owners understand and meet their obligations under assigned contracts.
- Work closely with contract owners and business stakeholders to translate contractual requirements into practical business actions and ensure delivery remains on track.
- Coordinate delivery of contractual obligations, milestones, service levels, reporting requirements and governance activities.
- Monitor performance, risks, issues and compliance, escalating matters and supporting mitigation strategies as required.
- Manage formal contract processes, correspondence, records, registers and audit-ready documentation.
About You
- You will bring strong contract management capability,
commercial judgement and confidence working with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience in contract, commercial or supplier management, ideally involving complex or business-critical agreements with exposure to ICT environments and agreements highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of contractual frameworks, service delivery obligations, commercial terms, risk, governance and compliance.
- Ability to interpret and apply contractual obligations and translate them into practical business actions.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and sound judgement.
- Legal qualifications or legal background are not essential but will be highly regarded.
