Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking a Planning & Environment Lawyer to join its highly regarded practice in Brisbane.

This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside some of Queensland's leading planning and environment lawyers, advising both public and private sector clients on a broad mix of front-end advisory and contentious matters. The Role

- Advise clients on planning, environmental, infrastructure, and cultural heritage matters.




- Assist with development strategy and statutory planning advice.
- Represent clients in Planning & Environment Court proceedings and dispute resolution.
- Advise on planning approvals, regulatory compliance, and development-related issues. Work closely with private developers, infrastructure providers, and all levels of government.
- Build strong client relationships while delivering commercially focused and practical legal advice.

Ideal Candidate

- 2-7 years' post-admission experience in planning and environment law.
- Experience gained within a private practice or government planning and environment team.
- Exposure to advisory, transactional, litigation, or regulatory planning matters.
- Experience in Planning & Environment Court proceedings will be highly regarded, or a genuine interest in developing advocacy skills.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- A collaborative, proactive, and commercially minded approach with a genuine passion for planning and environment law.
