Our client is seeking an experienced Change Lead to support a large-scale cybersecurity uplift program within a major NSW Government organisation. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in helping one of Australia's largest and most complex organisations strengthen its cyber resilience while ensuring people remain at the centre of every technology initiative.

This role is ideally suited to someone who understands that successful cybersecurity programs are as much about organisational adoption as they are about technology.

What you'll be doing

Working alongside program leadership, technical teams and business stakeholders, you will lead the people side of significant cybersecurity and technology initiatives by:

- Developing and delivering organisational change strategies across multiple workstreams.
- Conducting stakeholder impact assessments and readiness activities.
- Building strong relationships with executives, business leaders, technical specialists and project teams.
- Creating change, communication and engagement plans that support successful adoption of new technologies and ways of working.
- Leading workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions and change forums.
- Supporting business readiness, transition planning and operational adoption.
- Identifying and managing change risks, issues and resistance.
- Measuring adoption outcomes and recommending improvements throughout delivery.
- Providing strategic advice to senior stakeholders on change management approaches.
- Working closely with project managers, technical leads and communications teams to ensure coordinated delivery across the program.

What we're looking for

We're interested in experienced Change Leads who bring a combination of strategic thinking,



exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and an appreciation of complex technology environments.

You will ideally have:

- Demonstrated experience leading organisational change for large ICT or digital transformation programs.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity, technology or enterprise platform initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of recognised change management methodologies (such as Prosci, ADKAR or equivalent).
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
- Experience working with executive leadership and diverse business groups.
- The ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience developing change strategies, communications, training and adoption plans.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

The following experience will be viewed favourably:

- Previous experience within the NSW Government or broader Australian public sector.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity uplift, information security, identity, cloud, infrastructure or enterprise technology programs.
- Experience working within the education sector or similarly large, highly distributed organisations.
- A current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in Change Management, Business, Psychology, Communications, Organisational Development or a related discipline.
