As part of their continued growth and commitment to safety excellence, they are seeking an experienced WHS Business Partner to join their national safety team.

The Role

As a WHS Business Partner, you will work closely with operational leaders, branch teams, clients and field employees to support and strengthen safety performance across the business.

This is a genuine business partnering role where you will provide practical WHS guidance, coaching and support while helping drive strategic safety objectives. You will be a trusted advisor to operational stakeholders, helping to build safety capability, improve safety maturity and foster strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

- Partnering with branch and operational teams to support WHS activities, client onboarding and safety reviews.
- Providing practical WHS advice, coaching and support to managers and internal stakeholders.
- Building strong relationships with clients and supporting collaborative safety outcomes across multiple sites and industries.
- Supporting incident response activities, investigations and corrective action processes.
- Conducting site visits, audits and risk management activities.
- Supporting the implementation of strategic safety programs and organisational safety objectives.





The preferred location for this position is Sydney or Newcastle. Travel is required across client sites and operations throughout NSW.

About You

You are a proactive safety professional who enjoys building relationships, influencing stakeholders and helping operational teams achieve positive safety outcomes.

You bring a practical approach to safety, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and locations.

To be successful, you will have:

- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
- Experience in a WHS, Safety Advisor, Safety Coordinator or Business Partner role.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Experience supporting operational teams within multi-site or field-based environments.
- Sound knowledge of incident management, risk management and safety systems.
- The ability to travel regularly as part of a national role.
- Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills.

Experience within labour hire, contractor management, mining, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, logistics or similar operational environments will be highly regarded.
