The Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and shaping a seamless, high-performing operation across all office operations functions in the firm's Melbourne and Sydney offices, fostering an environment of professionalism, care and excellence for partners, staff, clients and visitors.

Your duties will include:

- Lead operations across the firm’s Melbourne and Sydney offices;
- Manage building management, contractor and supplier relationships;
- Develop and maintain workplace security, emergency response and business continuity procedures to safeguard the firm’s people, premises and assets;
- Champion workplace health and safety, overseeing inspections, risk assessments, incident reporting and compliance with relevant legislative requirements;
- Prepare and manage office operations budgets, identifying cost efficiencies and savings opportunities without compromising service quality;
- Lead,



coach and develop the Office Operations team across both offices, setting clear expectations and ensuring effective rostering and resourcing;
- Oversee cleaning, repairs and preventative maintenance programs, ensuring building systems, fixtures and facilities operate reliably;
- Manage the firm’s fleet, including the Driver, vehicle maintenance, registration, insurance, compliance and operational logistics; and
- Oversee records management, archiving and secure document disposal in accordance with firm policies and retention requirements.

The role requires proactive coordination with internal and external stakeholders and the ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively as they arise.

About You

You will bring experience from a high-performing, service-led environment, which may include office services, facilities, premium hospitality, hotels, real estate or a similar setting.

You are a confident people leader with a genuine commitment to service excellence. You notice the details others miss, take ownership of outcomes and act before being asked. Organised, composed and highly professional, you exercise sound judgement, manage competing priorities with ease and take pride in maintaining consistently high standards.

You must hold a current, unrestricted driver’s licence.
