In this role, you will be responsible for the Category, Supplier and Product matching activities required to support Blackwoods response to customer RFXs (Tender, Quote, Information, Proposal etc.). You will play a key role to play in defining the cost base of quotes and tender response, and consequently the profitability and win/loss rate of relevant submissions.
About the role:
- Support the Sales and wider Blackwoods Team by matching customer product requirements accurately and within requested timeframes
- Build an understanding of Blackwoods sales and product strategies to deliver tailored customer solutions for Blackwoods customers
- Support the Projects/Implementation team by participating in customer consolidation opportunities to deliver meaningful growth for both Blackwoods and our customer partners
- Support the development of Blackwoods product matching tools, processes and systems and participate in testing and feedback activities
- Actively support profit improvement and quote/ tender success by actively seeking cost price reduction, or other improved commercial term
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar Technical Sourcing or Product based role
- General knowledge of Industrial and Safety product brands available in Australia
- Ability to deliver strong commercial outcomes
- High level commercial acumen and strong analytical skills
- Ability to perform in a team environment
- Competency in MS Office (including excel, MS Teams and SharePoint)
This is a permanent, full-time prospect and will be based the Blackwoods Office in Canning Vale.
