The Opportunity

Following an internal promotion, we have a rare opportunity for a Quality Director to lead the next chapter of our quality journey across Suntory Oceania.

Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer and sitting as a key member of the Supply Chain Leadership Team, this role will provide enterprise leadership across Quality, Compliance, Food Safety, Risk and Business Continuity. You will shape the strategy, strengthen the systems, and build the culture that ensures quality remains at the heart of how we make, move and deliver our products across Australia and New Zealand.

This is a role with broad influence. You will work closely with Suntory Beverage & Food stakeholders in Japan, partner brands, commercial teams, manufacturing sites, suppliers, co-packers, customers and regulators to bring alignment, clarity and momentum across our wider supply chain. It is a chance to lead through partnership, influence with credibility, and connect quality outcomes to commercial performance, customer trust and consumer experience.

As our Quality Director, you’ll be responsible for:

- Shaping and leading the Quality, Compliance and Food Safety strategy across Suntory Oceania.
- Building a quality-first culture that protects consumers, strengthens our brands and drives business performance.
- Partnering with Supply Chain, R&D;, Commercial teams, Brand Partners and global Suntory stakeholders to drive alignment and continuous improvement.
- Leading governance, risk management, crisis readiness and regulatory compliance across the supply chain.
- Developing and inspiring a high-performing quality team across Australia and New Zealand.
- Championing quality transformation, capability building and operational excellence.

- Strong commercial and supply chain acumen, with the ability to connect quality outcomes to business performance.
- Proven success leading transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across diverse, global environments.
- A team-oriented, inclusive leadership style and passion for developing people.

With manufacturing sites in both Australia and New Zealand, this role could be based in Auckland, Brisbane or Sydney.
