Our client is an established and growing retail business seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead their flagship location.
This is a high-profile, high-volume store requiring a confident retail leader who can take ownership of the operation, build a strong team and consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience.
The Role
As Store Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the flagship store. You'll lead from the front, develop your team and ensure the store operates efficiently while maintaining strong commercial results.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be expected to understand the demands of a high-turnover environment and build a team capable of delivering consistently strong results.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team
- Managing a high-volume, high-turnover retail environment
- Driving sales, KPIs and overall store performance
- Recruiting, onboarding and retaining robust team members
- Building team capability through ongoing coaching and development
- Managing rosters, staffing levels and day-to-day operations
- Delivering consistently high customer service standards
- Maintaining strong presentation and operational standards
- Monitoring stock levels, replenishment and inventory processes
- Managing performance and addressing issues confidently
- Creating a positive,
accountable and motivated team culture
- Working closely with senior management to achieve business objectives
About You
We're looking for an experienced Store Manager who is comfortable leading a busy flagship location and developing a team to perform at a high level.
You'll be someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is confident making decisions and understands how to balance people leadership with commercial performance.
You will ideally have:
- Previous Store Manager experience in a high-volume environment
- Proven experience managing high staff turnover and busy trading periods
- Strong team leadership and development skills
- Experience recruiting, training and retaining retail teams
- Strong understanding of sales targets and retail KPIs
- Excellent operational and organisational skills
- Confident communication and people management capabilities
- A hands-on and proactive leadership style
- Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced workplace
- Strong customer service focus and commercial awareness
