JobScout Pty Ltd are working to assist our client for an established business operating retail store delivery services in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Operating across the Kalgoorlie–Boulder region and surrounding Goldfields communities, the business is focused on safe, efficient and reliable delivery operations, and on maintaining a high standard of service for its customer base.

As the business continues to grow its delivery operations, our client is now seeking an experienced and reliable Delivery Driver to join the team on a full-time, ongoing basis. The role is based at the client's Kalgoorlie premises, with deliveries carried out across Kalgoorlie and the surrounding regional area.

Responsibilities of our Delivery Driver will include:

·Manoeuvring vehicles safely into designated loading and unloading areas at the depot, customer sites and delivery destinations.

·Assisting with loading activities, ensuring goods are arranged for efficient delivery and securely restrained to prevent damage in transit.

·Checking and verifying loading and delivery documentation for accuracy prior to departure.

·Coordinating and carrying out unloading operations at delivery points and obtaining customer confirmation of completed deliveries.

·Identifying, recording and reporting vehicle maintenance and repair requirements, and conducting routine pre-start vehicle checks.

·Collecting delivery payments where required and maintaining accurate account and delivery records.

·Determining delivery destinations and selecting the most efficient and suitable routes, taking into account load, road conditions and delivery schedules.

·Representing the business professionally at every delivery and providing courteous, customer-focused service.





·Ensuring all driving and load restraint activities comply with WA road transport regulations, fatigue management requirements and work health and safety obligations.

To be successfully considered for the role, you:

·Hold a valid minimum car licence (mandatory) or above.

·Have a valuable driving history record.

·Have 1 to 3 years' relevant driving and delivery experience.

·Hold a minimum Certificate II level qualification or have at least 1 year of relevant full-time experience as Delivery Driver.

·Are physically able to hand load and unload trucks within safety guidelines.

·Are customer-focused with a positive, can-do attitude.

·Are reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

·Have sound route planning skills and a methodical approach to documentation and record keeping.
