About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated System Analyst with strong solution architecture skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in analysing requirements, updating design documents, and working effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

This role requires a strong understanding of feature breakdown, Product Backlog Item (PBI) creation, and a willingness to learn and grow—paired with a solid grasp of solution architecture principles.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse and document system requirements in collaboration with solution architects.

- Update and maintain design documents to reflect evolving requirements and architectural changes.

- Break down features and create PBIs with detailed Acceptance Criteria (ACs) and sizing.

- Write and execute basic SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting.

- Assist in coding tasks, with basic exposure to C# programming.

- Apply knowledge of OAuth2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) in system analysis and design.

- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues.

- Develop and maintain solution architecture standards, principles, and reference architectures.

- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and IT standards.

- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to improve quality and performance.

- Provide high-level assessments and estimations for proposed solutions.

- Continuously learn and upskill to stay current with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

- Solid experience in requirements analysis and digital solution documentation.

- Strong ability in feature breakdown and PBI creation, including writing ACs and sizing.

- Sound understanding of microservices and RESTful architectures.

- Ability to write basic SQL queries.

- Basic exposure to C# programming.

- Good understanding of OAuth2.0 and OIDC.

- Demonstrated experience working with both technical and business stakeholders.

- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and adaptable.

- Strong grasp of solution architecture principles and practices.

- Experience developing and maintaining architectural standards and reference models.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum environment.





- Familiarity with additional programming languages and technologies.

- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Technical Competencies

We are looking for a Technical System Analyst with proven exposure to:

- REST APIs

- UI and backend system design

- Translating business requirements into use cases, APIs, and UI specifications

- Collaborating closely with architects and stakeholders

- Experience with Angular and .NET Core is highly regarded

- Strong understanding of database concepts

- Experience analysing features and breaking them down into PBIs with technical specifications, ACs, and sizing.

- Familiarity with creating and maintaining future-state design documentation.

- Ability to analyse and understand UML diagrams.

- Basic proficiency in C# and SQL.

Additional Requirements:

Security Clearance Requirement: Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or are eligible for obtaining security clearance.
