What You'll Do

- Carry out servicing operations as directed and to standard
- Carry out vehicle maintenance and repairs according to job specifications
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions
- Carry out testing and adjusting of motor vehicle and mobile plant components and systems
- Carry out minor or routine auto electrical diagnostic, repair, and/or installation work
- Work safely, efficiently and to high standards according to site or workshop requirements

What We're Looking For

- Australian Automotive Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Proven experience as a qualified heavy diesel mechanic — 3+ years post trade experience is preferred (prior truck dealership, mine-site or heavy-duty plant experience highly regarded).




- Strong technical, diagnostic and trade skills
- Proven ability to use service literature and schematic diagrams to fault find and repair motor vehicles and mobile equipment to industry standard

- Reliable, proactive, team-minded and able to work independently when required
- Good communication and a commitment to safety and quality
- Must pass a pre-employment medical and national police check
- Full Australian work rights. (Note: we are not sponsoring or nominating visa holders.)
