Aspirante is partnering with the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (CDSB) to appoint two experienced Senior Project Managers to support the Queensland Critical Communications Modernisation (QCCM) Program. These are initial 12-month contracts, with two further 12-month extension options, based in Brisbane CBD.

About the program
QCCM is a major whole-of-government initiative focused on modernising Queensland’s critical communications capability.

The program will help strengthen the secure, reliable and resilient communications services used to support public safety, emergency response and disaster recovery operations across Queensland. It is a highly purposeful program whose outcomes will support frontline personnel, improve interoperability between participating agencies and contribute to Queensland’s preparedness for major events, including Brisbane 2032.

The program encompasses considerably more than implementing new technology. It involves complex ICT and telecommunications delivery, sourcing and procurement, commercial arrangements, governance, operational readiness, service transition and coordination across multiple Queensland Government agencies.

The opportunity
Reporting to the Program Director, you will lead the planning and delivery of QCCM workstreams, providing structure, leadership and strong project discipline within a complex, multi-agency environment.

You will work with senior executives, operational agencies, technical specialists, commercial and procurement advisers, change professionals and external delivery partners to ensure project activities are integrated and delivered within agreed scope, schedule,



budget and quality expectations.

About you
You will be an accomplished Program Delivery Executive with experience leading complex digital and business-transformation initiatives. To be successful, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience in project delivery methodologies, governance, planning and reporting.
- Strong practical experience applying PRINCE2 or comparable structured project-management practices.
- Experience managing complex project budgets, schedules, risks, issues and delivery dependencies.
- The ability to lead the development and implementation of complex business and ICT solutions.
- Highly developed written communication skills, including the preparation of plans, reports, ministrerial briefings and executive submissions.
- Highly engaging, articulate, influencing commercial Leader with excellent negotiation capability.
- Sound business acumen and experience operating within formal corporate-governance environments.
- Demonstrated experience supporting implementation, operational readiness and organisational change.
- Personal drive, professionalism, sound judgement and the ability to navigate recent and complex challenges.
- Queensland Government or broader public-sector delivery experience.
