ExoDrill Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and reliable, mechanically minded individual to join our growing Pressure Control Equipment (PCE) team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the oil and gas industry. We will provide on-the-job training. Experience or knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) would be highly regarded but is not essential.

The role is based out of Bibra Lake, WA with potential away work opportunities, supporting teams in various locations across Australia (Karratha WA, Broome WA, Sale VIC, Toowoomba QLD, Roma QLD, Darwin NT, Moomba SA).

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with the dismantling, cleaning and rebuilding of pressure control equipment.
- Operating workshop machinery and equipment.
- Assisting with hydrostatic pressure testing.
- Carrying out visual inspections and mechanical measurements.
- Supporting qualified NDT technicians during inspections.
- Learning industry inspection and maintenance procedures.
- Completing workshop documentation and inspection reports.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Occasional site work and travel throughout Australia.

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements:

- Australian working rights
- Valid C-Class driver's licence
- Forklift Licence
- Physical ability to perform manual and strenuous tasks




- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Proven punctuality and reliability
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Understanding of WH&S;, ISO 9001, and ISO 17025 standards
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to travel

Highly Regarded (Not Essential):

- Previous experience in oil & gas.
- Trade Assistant or workshop experience.
- Dogging or Rigging tickets.
- Basic knowledge or exposure to Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
- ISO 9712 Level II Certification in:
- Ultrasonic Testing
- Magnetic Particle Testing
