Join our Allied Health team as a Permanent Full Time Administration Officer based at Logan Hospital, Meadowbrook or Kingston State School, Kingston, where you'll provide exceptional administrative support that helps deliver quality healthcare to our community.

Your new role:

As the Administration Officer, you'll play an important role in supporting Allied Health clinicians, patients and the wider team by ensuring the smooth day-to-day coordination of administrative services. You'll provide professional customer service while helping maintain efficient clinical operations by:

- Providing high-quality administrative support to staff, patients and visitors.
- Responding to enquiries via phone, email and in person with professionalism and empathy.
- Coordinating appointments, clinic bookings, waiting lists and patient follow-up activities.
- Maintaining accurate patient records using hospital information systems.
- Preparing reports, processing Medicare bulk billing and supporting departmental administration.
- Managing medical correspondence, office supplies and equipment.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment while maintaining confidentiality and high service standards.

About you:

You're an organised and customer-focused administration professional who enjoys supporting others and thrives in a busy healthcare environment. You'll be successful in this role with:

- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine commitment to patient care.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.




- The ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Sound problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn clinical information systems.
- Experience delivering accurate administrative services in a fast-paced environment (healthcare experience is highly regarded).
- A commitment to confidentiality, professionalism and Metro South Health's values.

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
